Euro RSCG Worldwide Named Largest Global Advertising Agency

Euro RSCG Worldwide is the largest global advertising agency for the third year in a row, as measured by total number of global accounts, according to the 2008 Advertising Age Global Marketers Report. Ranked #1 in the 2006 and 2007 reports, Euro RSCG Worldwide maintained its top ranking in this year's report due to growth across all regions and a very strong new business performance which saw the addition of major brands including the entire US$90 million global Chivas (Pernod Ricard) business together with major wins from NYSE Euronext, The Hershey company, Schering-Plough, McDonald's, Kraft, Jaguar, L'Oreal, HP and Danone. Euro RSCG Worldwide topped the rankings with 55 global clients and 1,247 assignments, surpassing agencies McCann Erickson Worldwide and Ogilvy & Mather, which together round out the top three agencies, according to the figures released by Advertising Age this week. Of the Top 100 Global Marketers listed in the report, Euro RSCG Worldwide works with 82 of these brands including Sanofi-Aventis, Sears, Reckitt Benckiser, L'Oreal, Danone Group, General Electric, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Bayer, Schering-Plough Corp., Kraft, Walt Disney, Carrefour, and Ford Motor Company. These responsibilities are handled out of multiple offices across Euro RSCG's 233 offices globally. "We believe an agency can be both big and entrepreneurial, both global and creative, and this ranking is further support for that point of view. Being named largest global agency in the world three years in a row is a testament to our ability to deliver a model for global clients that is creative, entrepreneurial, scalable and, most importantly, delivers results," said David Jones, Global Chief Executive Officer of Euro RSCG Worldwide.
